Description

This gentle exfoliator for sensitive skin contains soothing sea whip and licorice, 2.6% combined glycolic and lactic acids, plus 2% betaine salicylates from beets at an overall 4.0pH.

Gentle + Exfoliate Gel will help even skin tone and texture - but this will happen slowly as you should not use aggressive exfoliators on your skin if you suffer with sensitive skin.

This gentle exfoliator will help reduce dry flakes, even for oily skin types who experience dray flakes around the nose area. Gentle + Exfoliate Gel will also reduce the potential for dry flakes of skin to block the pores and so enable pimples. All in all, exfoliation is important for the majority of us as it will maintain a more youthful and less dull appearance of the skin.

How to Use

Ingredients

Ingredients

External use only.

After cleansing, apply about the size of US 25c coin to dry skin each pm.

It is important that the skin is not moist/wet as water is a higher pH and will neutralize the acid before it can do any 'work' on your skin.

Smooth over skin with fingers. Leave on for 3 minutes. Remove all residue of the product by splashing the face with cool water.

If you're uncomfortable with the product, stop using it.

Avoid any highly irritated areas, open wounds and eyes. You can expect some level of sensation (tingling/stinging/itching) due to the slightly lower pH of acids than the skin.

You can apply Relief + Serum before AND after the application of Gentle + Exfoliate Gel if you are uncomfortable with the sensation of Gentle + Exfoliate Gel on the skin but feel that you really need to exfoliate.

You may want to try just 3 nights a week to begin with (like Monday/Wednesday/Friday) and then build up to 5 nights a week (like Monday/Tuesday, Thursday/Friday/Saturday) then go up to 7 nights a week if your skin can take it. Always take it slowly with sensitive skin - never rush it - just be gentle and treat your skin sensitively!

The next 'exfoliating' step-up from here, after your sensitive skin has stabilized and strengthened, will be to use the 10% glycolic and lactic acid plus 2% betaine salicylate 'Clear Skin Ultra Gel' at 3.9pH, and then move up to the 10% glycolic and lactic acid 'Age Limit Refinishing Serum' at a 3.5pH. As the pH gets lower, so the intensity of the sensation on the skin will increase.
